About SinoNZ Group Ltd

Our company, SinoNZ Group Limited, is a newly formed strategic alliance (joint venture) of industry people geared towards developing and nurturing opportunities in the various sectors of both countries. While our head office is in New Zealand, our immediate focus is China. We were established as a company in 2005 and have since experienced rapid growth in large part due to our service ethos which is now highly regarded globally. The parent company now operates SinoNZ Tourism, Xi'an Travel Service, the Nomad Global Brand, Plum Blossom Web Outsourcing and Hq Guesthouse in Xi'an. Initially we developed a tourism arm which provides central accommodation in Xi'an for families, couples and independent travellers of all ages and specialized in tours that are both flexible and culturally enriching. The tourism arm of our company is now split into 3 distinct sections:

1: Xi'an accommodation. 

We can now offer accommodation in Xi'an to all levels of travellers.

a) We have the Guesthouse which has become the most sought after choice for families visiting Xi'an and ranked #1 on Tripadvisor. In addition our "sister" hotel (Wen Yuan) offers a great location, clean rooms and exceptional value

b) Central city apartments in Xi'an. Very convenient choice for visitors to Xian. All our apartments are located right in the center of Xi'an, around 100m2, and fully furnished with all modcons- excellent value

c) Due to high demand we have partnered with Sofitel to offer 5 star accommodation options for corporate travel solutions and luxury packages

2: Xian Travel Service

"Putting the X into Xi'an travel", XTS provides high quality and flexible culture tours around Xi'an with standard and with frills options. In addition the business provides extremely cheap flight tickets for internal travel in China, Yangtze River Cruises (5 star, 4 star and standard options), Beijing culture Tours and other services such as Tour guides, etc.

3. SinoNZ Tourism.

Offers cultural, educational and business travel solutions for individuals, companies and institutions in both New Zealand and China to take advantage of the many opportunities at our disposal due to the historic signinging of the FT agreement between the two nations

While we remain stronly focused on the travel industry, we have also taken heed of other developments and opportunities to which the Chinese economic miracle and the FTA with NZ have opened the door.

The Nomad Global Brand was the seed that grew into the SinoNZ Group. It now composes of three distinct branches:

1: Nomad Global Traders Ltd

Established more than 4 years ago, NGT continues to help foreign companies source the best quality products at the cheapest possible prices. We have indepth knowledge of the Chinese manufacturing sector, and continue to save firms not only substantial amounts of cash, but also time and headaches due to our unique quality control systems and local connections. NGT provides a comprehensive service for businesses from product sourcing to translation, quality control and shipping. 2: Nomad Global Education

With years of experience with education in China from university level down to primary education, we have access to a vast network of schools and institutions with whom you can visit or collaborate. Ideal for school trips, teaching professionals and higher learning institutions. In addition we offer fully accredited Chinese courses for all levels from beginner through professional. Nomad Global Education is currently seeking a learning institution in New Zealand who can offer educational packages to Chinese students in NZ.

3: Nomadpublications - Navigate your mind

Created way back in 2000, Nomadpublications seeks to promote grassroots creativity in a variety of genres. Has become something of a cult publication with many alternative artists contributing, and over 100,000 visitors in 8 years

Plum Blossum Web Outsourcing

This branch of our business is only 7 months old and showing very strong growth potential. In the first instance the company was formed to take care of simple data processing as small (10-30 staff) companies in the North American market place begin to feel the effects of the credit crunch. From this starting point we have leveraged our strong connections with the IT sector in the Hi Tech Zone of Xi'an to take on several other projects for globally diverse firms. The company is currently heavily involved in the design and development of Chinese websites for foreign players wishing to establish a virtual online presence in China.

We are currently Phase 3 of our operation will involves tapping into the Chinese market and assisting Chinese at all levels to experience New Zealand whether that be for business, educational, cultural or purely pleasurable purposes. To this end we are currently in discussions with the New Zealand government in order to obtain funding, which is inline with their own objectives of expanding the NZ tourism brand to the orient. At the same time we offer reciporical arrangments to kiwis who wish to use our experience to enter the Chinese market.

In short, our initial progress has been beyond our wildest expectations, with our websites receiving 40,000+ visitors in the last year alone. With the historic signing of the FTA between NZ and China at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday April 7, 2008 we believe we are ideally situated to further our business objectives.
